What is a 2D/3D machine control system?
2D machine control system provides the operator information about bucket or blade position compared to a known reference, such as stake or laser beam. 2D system consists of sensors and display/computer unit.
3D machine control system provides the operator information about bucket or blade position compared to a design data file. 3D machine control system utilizes satellite navigation or total station, so stakes or laser transmitters are not needed. 3D system consists of sensors, display/computer unit and positioning equipment. Additionally, a digital, three-dimensional drawing of the job site is needed.
What does RTK-GPS or RTK-GNSS mean?
Satellite positioning is commonly used for positioning the construction machine. RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) technology is based on real-time correction data that the construction machine receives from a base station. Due to the correction data, construction machines can be positioned in a centimeter level accuracy. GPS (Global Positioning System) is a satellite positioning system developed by United States Department of Defense. The position of a receiver can be calculated from satellite signals. GPS and Russian GLONASS form together a system called GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System). The benefit of GNSS is greater number of satellites, which leads to better satellite constellation. Novatron's receiver is compatible with GNSS, so it can receive signals from both GPS and GLONASS satellites.

Will machine control systems withstand the demanding conditions of earth works?
Reliability is among the key issues that are taken care of in the product development process. The equipment can stand hits, vibration, moisture and big temperature changes. Sensors and other equipment outside the cabin are IP67 classified.

All products are given 2 years warranty, which applies to installation as well.
